This walkthrough pulls a few days of daily bars for a ticker, then checks the live snapshot for what the stock is doing right now. Two calls.

1. Historical bars

ticker, start_date, and end_date are all required, this route does not default either date the way the Financial Datasets schema describes.
curl
Response
Bars come back ascending, oldest first. time is the bar’s end date in UTC. Measured cost: $0.0006.

2. Live price

curl
Response
Measured cost: $0.0006.

Weekly, monthly, and yearly bars

interval accepts day, week, month, or year. This server sources daily bars and aggregates the wider intervals locally, so a weekly call over the same date range costs the same as a daily one, the aggregation happens after the fetch, not as a separate provider call.
curl
interval_multiplier must stay at its default of 1. A value like 5 for “every 5 days” is not implemented and answers 400.

Total

Two calls, $0.0012 combined at these measured costs. See Historical and Snapshot for the full parameter list.
